Today Al- Farabi KazNU is one of the best universities in Kazakhstan which never forgets about ancient traditions of Kazakh people, so Nauryz Holiday that has been long regarded as one of the important events in the history of our nation could not be overlooked by the university.
On March 24, 2023, the lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages Kabytaeva A.A., within the framework of the university project of cooperation with the United Nations and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals, held a debate in Kazakh, English, and Russian on "Affordable and clean energy".
On the eve of «Nauryz Holiday» the students of group 301 studying in the specialty: «Kazakh Philology» at A. Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology arranged an unforgettable meeting with the famous Kazak poet, the first deputy chairman of the Writers’ Union and State Prize «Daryn» winner, Akberen Yelgezek.
On March 20, 2022, the bachelor’s degree students of group 201 studying in the specialty: “Kazakh philology” at A. Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Philology together with their mentor Zh. Abitzhanova held a literary musical evening: "Welcome Nauryz!" at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi KazNU.
On March 17, 2023. The Senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages of Al-Farabi KazNU, G. A. Gaiipova and E. N. Mikhalchenko organized a "Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan'' teleconference on the topic: "Healthy lifestyle" within the framework of Sustainable Development Goals United Nations Programme.
13-20 March week was announced as the " National Education Week". The Faculty of Philology took an active part in this project aimed at popularizing the National Values of Kazakh People.
On March 16, 2023, teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages organized a presentation of posters on the topic "My Country and Its Cultural Traditions" among foreign students of the Medical Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
On March 16, 2023, the Department of Foreign Languages of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University held IV International Online Conference: «Globally Interconnected: New Opportunities and Challenges for Sustainable Development» under Sustainable Development United Nations Programme for young researchers.
Within the implementation of the university project in cooperation with the United Nations and the achievement of sustainable development goals, on March 11, 2023, the lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages A. Otetileuova and A. Shayahmet held the "Gender Equality" videoconference in English.
On March 10, 2023, in Room 517 at the Faculty of Chemistry senior teacher Bazarbayeva A.S. held a demo lesson on the topic: "Types of abstracts" with the students of groups: TFP 202 and TFP 203 using active learning methods.
