On April 14, 2023, there was an Olympiad among students of other nationalities studying at higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Olympiad aim was to improve the knowledge of Kazakh culture and history, traditions and national values along with the knowledge of the state language. The Olympiad was held in Kazakh and was called: «Speak Kazakh, Surprise the world, Kazakhstan is an independent country forever!» . It was organized by Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Faculty of Philology, and A. Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Linguistics.

On April 14, 2023, the club "Zhadiger" (head – Candidate of Philological Sciences S. Daribayev) of  the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature organized a meeting with the famous ethnographer, Candidate of Historical Sciences,  Dosymbek Katran. During the meeting, the researcher delivered a lectureon the topic: "Culture of Kazakh traditional cuisine" to  the students of the Faculty of Philology.

On April 13, 2023, an environmental action was held among the 2nd year students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology on the theme: «Save and preserve».

On April 10 this year, senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University cand.of Phil.Sc. AisultanovaK.A., Aliyarova L.M., Musanova G.A., Utegenova K.Ch. and Atabaeva G.K. organized a round table on the topic "Eradication of poverty" within the framework of the UN program: "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)".

On April 5, 2023, the Research Institute of Turkology and Altaic Studies, as well as the Department of Russian Philology and World Literature of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the organizers of the Epoch and Personality project held a round table conference on the topic: "Intonation of the Epoch: unforgettable meetings with A.L. Zhovtis".

Associate professor of A. Baitursynuly Department of Kazakh Linguistics, Kulzhanova Bakhytgul Raykhanovna, gave an interview about G.Musrepov’s 120th anniversary published in the “Termin”, the Turkish magazine

On April 1, the Republican scientific seminar  on the topic: "Language and spiritual national values: differentiation, systematization and substantiation" was held at the Library of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The scientific seminar was conducted by the head of A. Baitursynov  Department of Kazakh Linguistics, Professor A. B. Salkynbay.

On April 30, 2023 at 9.00 a.m. at the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology, the senior teachers, Bazarbayeva Zh.T. and Abdullayeva A.S.held a demo lesson on the topic: "Teamwork as a means to learn new material” in Russian language classroom in the group of students studying in the specialty: “Technology of pharmaceutical production”.

On March 30, 2023 the senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages, Makhmetova D.M., Muldagalieva A.A., Gumarova Sh.B., Lugovskaya E.I., Issabayeva B.K., Zhirenshina K.A., Nessipbayeva Z. S. together with Associate Professor, Nazhipkyzy Meruert (Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology) and Nurmukhanova Alfiya, candidate of technical sciences held the International Round Table Conference on the topic: Clean water, sanitation, affordable and clean energy are necessary conditions for human race existence.  The event participants were the 1^st master’s degree and bachelor’s degree students of the Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology and the Faculty of Physics and Technology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

In order to combine education and upbringing, the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages N.B. Mombekova held an event on the topic: “Welcome, Nauryz Day” with the participation of students from the Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology.
