Online meeting with the writers of Kazakhstan
In order to successfully implement the “100 Books” project and build spiritual and moral qualities of students, incite their interest in reading, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has a tradition of organizing meetings with famous writers and poets.
The Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature’s Department of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of KazNU, within the framework of the “100 Books” project, will conduct an online meeting with writers on the topic “Writer’s Face”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary ofAdam Mekebaev, the famous writer, the honored worker of Kazakhstan, the holder of the Order “Parasat”, the laureate of international literary prize “Alash.
The famous writer, the Honored worker of Kazakhstan Maral Yskakbai; the poet, the Deputy Chairman Of the Board of the Union of writers of Kazakhstan Bauyrzhan Zhakyp; the poet, the editor-in-chief of the journal “Zhuldyz”, the Honored worker of Kazakhstan Galym Zhaylybay; the famous writer, the journalist, the Winner of the «Tarlan-Umit» award, the Winner of the President's award in the field of mass media Zhusipbek Khorgasbek; the writer, the honored worker of Kazakhstan, the laureate of the international literary prize “Alash” Akhat Zhaksybaev; the poet, the statesman and the public figure Sansyzbay Kuttybaev; the literary scholar, Doctor of of Philological Sciences, Full Professor Temirkhan Tebegenov; w Adam Mekebaev's wife , Guljamila Escobek will take part in the online meeting.
The event will be attended by teachers, students, undergraduates and doctoral students of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, scientists and researchers of M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art.
During the online meeting, the new and interesting facts fromAdam Mekebaev's life and literary work, the significance of his literary and creative heritage, stories and novels, his contribution to the development of Kazakh literature and culture will be discussed.
