On April 30, 2021, the online international scientific-theoretical conference "Pillar of Independence - language, knowledge, history" dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the outstanding scholar, one of the founders of Kazakh linguistics, writer, translator, teacher, journalist, public figure,  Koshke Koshmukhamet Kemengerovich. We invite you to take part in the conference.

The topics of the   conference section:

• The idea of ​​independence and alash

• History of Kazakh linguistics: historical gaps

• A person in linguistics

• Language policy, state language, terminology

• Innovative paradigms in modern Kazakh linguistics

• Theoretical problems of the Kazakh language

• Methods of teaching the Kazakh language and literature.

Conference organizer: Department of Kazakh Linguistics, Faculty of Philology and World Languages, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.   The conference will take place on ZOOM platform. A link to the online conference will be sent later to the university website and social networks. Conference proceedings will be published in the form of a collection. Organizational fee is   4000 tenges (KZ14722C000013976344 Ramazanov Talgat Bekbulatovich). Deadline for the electronic thesis version submission is until April 15, 2021 (alm-ornai@mail.ru; satmuhamet@gmail.com).

Requirements for the conference paper preparation:

1. The electronic version of the paper in Kazakh, Russian, English should not exceed 10 pages.

2. The text should be typed in Times New Roman, 14 fonts; line spacing - 1; 20 mm on each side.

3. References are given in square brackets, Arabic numerals in the order as they follow in the text.

4. The conference application form   should be sent together with the electronic version of the paper. It must include the author's name, affiliation, position, academic degree and title.

5. Abstract is no more than 4-6 lines in three languages ​​(Kazakh, Russian, English), keywords (15-40 words or phrases) are separated by semicolons;

6. The references should meet the standard (GOST 7.1-2003).

The conference will also include the competition among university students and the winners will be awarded cash prizes (for 1st, 2nd, 3rd places).
