Since 2012, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University has been implementing the “100 Books” project, which includes the best works of the classics of national and world literature. I This project is aimed at increasing the cultural and spiritual level of the modern young generation by inciting their interest in reading. Having become a good tradition, this project is being successfully implemented by other faculties. Up to today, a number of different events have been held during the project implementation. Our online meeting is also being organized as part of the “100 Books” project.
In the current situation when the human mind is in a dubious state, our main duty is to provide people with spiritual food.
The Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will hold a meeting with Nurgali Oraz, the laureate of the literary prize, the philosopher, the writer, whose works are full of philosophical thoughts about life, and contain stories that deeply reveal the human's soul.
The online meeting will be attended by the employees of M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, the teachers, the students, the undergraduates, the doctoral students of KazNU. During this event, the problems related to the main trends in the development of modern world and Kazakh literature will be discussed.
