Al-Farabi Kazakh National University successfully implements the project «100 books», aimed at shaping important moral and spiritual qualities of students by getting them acquainted with the literary works of the great Kazakh writers and poets. The university has developed good traditions of conducting creative meetings with famous writers and poets.
The Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of KazNU together with M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art, within the framework of the «100 books» project, will conduct an online meeting with the writer Yakup Umeroglu, the chairman of the Eurasian Writers Union, the member of the European Academy of Sciences, Arts and Literature, the teacher at the University of Gazi,.
The online devoted to «International Literary Communication and Cultural Diplomacy» will be attended by the employees of the Institute, the teachers, the students of bachelor degree, the students of master degree and the doctoral students of KazNU. During the online meeting, the problems of the development of world and Kazakh literature in the modern cultural space, as well as the problems of creative integration and inciting students's interest in reading were discussed.
