The Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature and the Philological Faculty Zhambyl Zhabayev Scientific Center of the Study of Kazakh Folklore and Literature of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invite you to take part in the International Winter School, which will be held from February 27 to March 3, 2023.

The purpose of the International Winter School is to exchange experience and knowledge in the field of intercultural communication, innovative technologies used in the study and teaching of literature, the preparation of scientific publications.

Languages of International Winter School: Kazakh, Russian, English

Participation format: offline and online.

Speakers of the International Winter School: leading domestic and foreign scientists, teachers, writers, literary workers

Master classes will be held within the framework of the International Winter School:

1) The basics of public speaking and speechwriting

2) Principles of the analysis of works of art

3) Literature and law

4) Education of the younger generation through literature

5) Fundamentals of economics and entrepreneurship in folklore and literature

6) Methods of teaching Kazakh literature to foreign citizens

7) Writer’s Creative laboratory

8) Preparation of scientific projects of schoolchildren

9) Writing a thesis

10) Theoretical training within the school curriculum

as well as Team building in the mountain resort hotel "Lesnaya Skazka", excursions around Almaty

All the participants of the International Winter School will be awarded certificates .

The Requirements for the participation in the International Winter School:

-          The candidates from all over the world can participate

-          Age limit is 15 -60

To participate in the International Winter School, you must fill out the application form below:

Fee: the training within the framework of the International Winter School will be on the paid-bases. The cost of one master class is 5000 tengers.

The deadline for registrations forms for the participation in the International Winter School is up to February 24, 2023.
