On May 29, 2023, the International scientific and practical seminar: "Topical problems of teaching Russian language and literature in the conditions of the modern language situation" was held at the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Doctor of Philology, Professor Nursultan Zhamalbekovna Shaimerdenova, Candidate of Philology, the Senior lecturer of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Amanzholova Gemma Bolatovna were the moderators of the given event.

Yeltsin, Doctor of Philology, Director of the Department "Faculty of Philology", Professor of the Department of Fundamental and Applied Linguistics and Textual Studies Plotnikova Anna Mikhailovna and Doctor of Philology, Director of the Department of Linguistics, Head of the Department of Germanic Philology, Tomberg Olga Vitalievna and the teachers and the heads of the departments of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
