Round-table Discussion Lesson which is devoted to «The Eradication of Poverty» in the framework of «Sustainable Development»

On April 10 this year, senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University cand.of Phil.Sc. AisultanovaK.A., Aliyarova L.M., Musanova G.A., Utegenova K.Ch. and Atabaeva G.K. organized a round table on the topic "Eradication of poverty" within the framework of the UN program: "Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)". The event was attended by the first-year students of the Faculty of History, and the students of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the students of Karabuk University and Istanbul Technical University, Turkey.
The main speaker was a first year student Mansur Bulatov from the Istanbul Technical University. This round table pursued the following goals: promoting a healthy lifestyle among the younger generation, awakening in them a constant motivation for work, knowledge, strengthening friendship between peoples.
Al-Farabi KazNU students, together with their friends from Turkey, prepared presentations, video records and games on given topic and shared interesting information, and then the teaching staff of KazNU expressed their opinions and thanked the students for their interesting reports. The round table was very interesting, informative, and every student was able to learn something useful from this meeting. The round table was organized in English offline and online on the ZOOM platform.
