The integration of Sustainable Development Goals into the content of English language classroom is one of the effective ways to raise students' awareness of existing global problems in the world and their possible solutions. On March 4, 2023, a teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages, Laura Baitleuova, organized a lesson dedicated to one of the Sustainable Development Goals titled as "SDG 3: Good health and well-being" among first-year foreign students of the Medical Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University majoring in the educational program “General Medicine".

The students discussed the content of this goal and completed interactive tasks. The introductory part of the lesson was devoted to a video about such issues as universal access to quality medical services, concerns about maternal and neonatal mortality, access to safe and affordable medicines and vaccines for all, as well as the importance of a healthy diet. At the end of the lesson, students created posters "Fruit&Veggie map" about the beneficial properties and nutrients of various fruits and vegetables.
