Today, on March 2, 2023, on the initiative of the head of the Department of Foreign Languages, candidate of philological sciences Dosmagambetova D.Zh. and the deputy head of the department for educational and methodicalwork, candidate of philological sciences Aisultanova K.A., with the organization of senior teachers who are responsible for educational and methodological work Tleugabylova Z. A., Mussanova G.A., and with the participation of senior teachers all faculties where the disciplines "Foreign language" and "Foreign language (professional)" are taught was held a meeting with the representatives of "Study Inn" Publishing House and "Kokzhiek-Horizon" Book Home.

     During the meeting, the academic director of the International educational holding and "Study Inn" Book House, Bekzhanova Gulnar Ginayatovna and the head of "Kokzhiek-Horizont" Book House, Myrzabekova Gulzhan Aitmukhanbetovna made a presentation about new foreign language textbooks to senior teachers of the department offered by publishing houses Cambridge and Oxford. They demonstrated the content of these textbooks, explained how to use in the classroom and shared their experience of working with them. During the meeting the senior teachers of the department got acquainted with the following textbooks for teaching English: Cambridge English for Scientists, Writing for Impact, Life, Keynote, Unlock, Outcomes, Pathways, 21st century communication, Energy English, Gateway to Science, Professional English in Law, Marketing, Grammar Explorer, Grammar for Great Writing and others. The teachers discussed these textbooks that can be used in the new academic year. At the end of the bilateral meeting, the representatives of the publishing house gave concrete answers to senior teachers’ questions, and all listened all proposals.
