On February 6, 2023, from 3.00 p.m. to 4.00 p.m. the fourth meeting of the “English Club of Song Lovers” was organized according to the plan of the 2^nd semester of the 2022-2023 academic year.

On Feburay 3, 2023 the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mr. Sayasat Nurbek awarded the best scientists who have made a significant contribution to the development of science and who work for the future of the country.

On February 2, 2023, within the framework of the project “100 books which should be read by each student of al-Farabi KazNU”, Akhmet Baitursynov Department of Kazakh Linguistics of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a curatorial hour devoted to Mukagali Makatayev’s anniversary who is considered one of the greatest poets of Kazakhstan. The topic of the event was: “Khan Tengri Spirit”.

In order to implement the objectives specified in 2020-2025 language policy implementation state program in the Republic of Kazakhstan, from January 30 to February 2 and from February 7 to February 10, 2023, another examination of tests developed according to the KAZTEST system by the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education was carried out. 

From January 30 to February 4, 2023, the teacher of A. Baitursynov Kazakh Linguistics Department of Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU, Sh. A. Ramazanova was a jury member of   General- Education -Subject Republican Olympiad organized by the «Almaty Daryn». The competition was held at a district level.

On January 26, 2023, the teacher of A. Baitursynov Kazakh linguistics Department of Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU Sh. Ramazanova was a jury member of citywide “Abai Alimi” creative competition which was held among the schoolchildren of 8-11 grades.

On January 26, 2023 the 1st year students of the Faculty of Philology majoring in "6B02305 – Kazakh philology" discussed Al-Farabi KazNu Student Honor Code held a curatorial hour. 

       On January 25, 2023, within the framework of the International Book Donation Day, the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan organized a meeting with the General Consul of Russia, Bobrov Evgeny Petrovich and the head of the Russian House in Almaty, Baryshnikova Tatiana Viktorovna.

On January 25, 2023, Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Candidate of Philological Sciences Kalkabayeva S.A. was awarded a Certificate of Honor by the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan for her contribution to the development of national science.

Professor of Eskisehir Osmangazi University (Republic of Turkey) Dr. Farrukh Agha visited Al - Farabi Kazakh National  University from November 25 to December 25 to deliver a series of lectures.
