The IId Republican online conference "Creative heritage and Abai Kunanbayev's studies", dedicated to Abai's day , was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The famous scientists, teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates took part in the event, organized by Abai's Research Institute and the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies , famous scientists.
The Faculty of Philology held a solemn graduation ceremony for their graduates. The eminent scholars and the teaching staff of the faculty were present at the ceremony. The faculty graduates of 2021 academic year addressed with words of gratitude to their teachers, having said that the years of studying at the Faculty of Philology are the happiest time in their lives.
On June 21 2021, by the order of the university administration the Faculty of Philology organized the online methodological workshop the topic of which was: “Modern trends and challenges of university education”.

On June 2, 2021, the laboratory “Sociolinguistics, Theory and Practice of Translation” of the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation with the support of KAZPRYAL (Kazakhstani Association of Teachers of the Russian Language and Literature), the Academy of Children’s Books “Altair”, the scientific and educational project “Epoch and Personality” held a round table called “What ancient manuscripts are silent about”, dedicated to Altay Sarsenovich Amanzholov, the outstanding turkologist, Doctor of Philology, Professor.

On May 28 2021, the final workshop "On the pages of Olzhas Suleimenov's books: experience in kindergarten, school and university" was held. This event was held with the support of the educational and publishing center "Zlatoust" (St. Petersburg, Russia).
The teachers and the PhD students of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized a flash mob on the occasion of O Suleimenov’s 85th anniversary, Kazakhstani poet, linguist, public and political figure. The teachers together with the PhD students made the video in which they recited the passages of the famous poem: “The Earth bow to the Man” written by O. Suliemenov. The poem is devoted to Yu. Gagarin’s flight to space.
On May 21 2021, a webinar " To Children about Olzhas" was held, which brought together children of different ages, starting with the pupils of kindergarten No. 9 "Nurshashu" (Nur-Sultan).
