The IId  Republican online conference "Creative heritage and  Abai Kunanbayev's studies", dedicated to Abai's day , was held at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.  The famous scientists, teachers, doctoral students and undergraduates took part in the event, organized by Abai's  Research Institute  and the Department of Foreign Philology and Translation Studies ,  famous scientists.

The meeting was opened by Zhangar  Dadebaev,  the director of  Abai Research Institute, Doctor of Philology, Professor, who spoke about the large-scale work carried out at the Institute. He said that on the basis of scientific schools and the  works of scientists in the field of Abay studies, the  scientific electronic database has been created, and 50 volumes of selected works on Abay's  studies and 10 volumes of the anthology "Abay studies" have been published in  "Kazakh University" publishing house. These works are currently available to readers at  the university library,  Abay institute and on the website of the publishing house. He noted that it is also planned to officially open an electronic database of books for a wide range of readers.

In his report, the scholar noted  that  the University  Academic Council  made a decision to  teach the subject "Abai's Teaching" for  all specialties according to the instruction of the President of Kazakhstan, Kassym -Zhomart Tokayev.  This elective course  will cover all issues related to human life and contain sections such as "The concept of Abai's studies", "Sources of Abai's studies", "Components of Abai's studies", "Abai's studies  categories", "Measuring tools  of Abai's studies" , "The essence and signigicance  of Abai's studies."

Famous Kazakh scholars - D. Iskakuly, A. Espembetov, T. Tegenov, Z. G. Bisengali, A. Tarakov, A. Zhaksylykov, K. Madibay, T. Esembekov, A. Salkynbai, R. Abdikulova, S. Zhusanbaeva, S. Uteniyazov, K. Karabaeva, A. Maulenov, L. Musaly and others made  presentations and analyzed the poet's creative heritage and studies from the point of view of modern scientific paradigms.

The participants also exchanged views on the creative personality and studies of  Abai, the peculiarities of the poet's heritage, the basic principles of Abai's studies, his role and significance in modern spirituality. An electronic exhibition and the poet's legacy for youth was presented on the website of  Abai Research Institute.
