Topical issues of modern philology

Dear Colleagues!
You are invited to take part in the online International Scientific and Practical Conference (XIІ Bagizbayev Readings) dedicated to the 85th anniversary of Olzhas Omarovich Suleimenov’s birth: "Topical issues of modern philology" which will take place on May 18, 2021 in Almaty city.
Scholars, teachers, students, members of creative unions, public figures are invited to participate in the conference. The conference program includes a plenary session, a flash mob “People! Citizens of the entire universe! Add a zest to your life! " and the work of the sections. The conference participants will be shown photos and video of the exhibition: "Olzhas Suleimenov and Al-Farabi KazNU". The plenary session will include a round - table discussion on the topic: "Olzhas Suleimenov and the present”. The literary scholars, writers and poets, students and f O. Suleimenov’s friends will take part in this discussion. The section work covers the following topics:
• Topical problems of modern philology
• Digital technologies in the study of philological disciplines
• Poetics of literary text by O.O. Suleimenov: new interpretations
Working conference languages of the conference: Russian, Kazakh, English.

The conference paper shouldn’t exceed 7 pages. The deadline for the conference paper submission is up to May 10, 2021 and should be sent to the email address: sagintajev@gmail.com The registration fee is 5,000 tenges. Papers submitted after this deadline are not accepted.
