                                     International Scientific Conference for
                               Students and young researchers "FARABI ALEMI"
                                                     (April 6-9, 2020)
         The Faculty of Philology and World Languages ​​of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invites students and young researchers to take part in the International Conference "FARABI ALEMI", which will be held on April 6, 2020.
Students, undergraduates, doctoral students, young scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and neighboring countries are invited to take part in the conference.
deadline for the conference reports (abstracts) submission is March 15, 2020.
The closing of the conference will be held on April 9 at . Dzholdasbekov Students’ Palace at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

The main goals and objectives of the conference are to:
1) to stimulate to student’s research and educational activity;
2) involve students and young researchers in the solution of scientific problems of our time;
3) reveal creative abilities, select and support the most talented and gifted students;
4) promote the shaping of the students’ intellectual potential.

The conference will be held in the following areas:
 
         ► New information technologies in the educational process;
         ► Topical problems of literary criticism;
         ► Linguistics;
         ► Topical issues of Russian philology;
         ►Two foreign languages;
         ► Philology, linguodidactics and translation studies: topical issues and development trends;
         ► Topical problems of teaching foreign languages;
        ► Languages ​​of intercultural communication
       ►Section of young researchers.

Working languages ​​- Kazakh, Russian, English.
All conference participation expenses are paid by the participants.
The deadline for submitting applications and abstracts in paper and electronic is March 15, 2020.

THE GUIDLINES FOR ABSTRACT PREPARATION
- word limit is one A4 page;
- Margins: up - 2 cm, bottom - 2 cm, left - 3 cm, right - 1.5 cm.
- Times New Roman, KZ Times New Roman - 12pt
- Line spacing - single, paragraph - 1 cm; book orientation; pages must be without headings and headers; the text should be aligned on the width;
In addition to the materials, the author should send an application for conference participation. The file should be named avtor.doc and the name of the author should be written in Latin letters. For example, Ivanov.doc. Abstracts and applications should be saved in Microsoft Word format:
The title of the abstract is centered and bold-typed with the capital letters.
The abstract author’s initials are centered and typed in Times New Roman 11pt., Italics.
The full name of the supervisor is centered and typed in Times New Roman 11pt., Italics.
The next line shows the author's email.
One line after the abstract is given.
The Conference Committee reserves the right to reject the abstracts which will not correspond to the conference requirements . The Conference Committee will not edit the materials. The author of each abstract is responsible for the information submitted.
One author may submit 2 abstracts.
(!) The volume of the abstract should not exceed 1 page (do not use pictures).
Abstracts will be published in the conference proceedings.
