“ABISH KEKILBAYEV – AN OUTSTANDING FIGURE OF THE EPOCH”

The Department of Kazakh Literature and Literature Theory of the Faculty of Philology and World Languages of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invites you to take part in the republican scientific and practical conference dedicated to Abish Kelkibayev’s 80th anniversary, the national writer of Kazakhstan, a prominent public figure. The topic of the conference is “Abish Kekilbaev is an outstanding figure of the epoch”. The conference will be held on October 26, 2019.
The purpose of the conference is to comprehend Abish Kelkibayev’s heritage in the context of the modern historical, cultural and literary process and to reveal the historical significance of his public work for country the development.

The conference consists of three sections:
1. A. Kekilbaev - a prominent public figure;
2. A. Kekilbaev’s creative work and world literary process;
3. Trends in the development of modern humanities.
Within the framework of the conference, the audience named after Abish Kekilbaev will opened in lecture hall 316 at the faculty of philology and world languages.
Conference venue: Almaty, 71 Al-Farabi Ave., the administration building, the conference hall on the 15th floor.
The conference will start at 11.00.
