On April 19, 2023, senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages: Gumarova Sh.B., Isabayeva B.K., Rustemova A.I., Orazayeva G.A. together with the first-year Master’s degree students of the Physics and Technology Faculty of L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University and their mentor, acting Associate Professor, Kaziyeva N.M., PhD, organized a republican conference dedicated to the Qualitative Education within the UN Programme: Sustainable Development Goals. The conference speakers included first-year Master’s degree students of L.N. Gumilyov ENU: Dosymbek Beksultan and Kenesbek Begis with "Training in Canada", Baizhanova Diana and Serikova Azhar with "Training in Korea", and Madiyev Ablaikhan with "Training in the Netherlands" (mentor: acting Associate Professor, Kaziyeva M.N., PhD), as well as first-year Master’s degree students of the Physics and Engineering Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University: Kurbanov Beibars with “Scientific Activities and Quality of Education in Al-Farabi KNU” (report in the Kazakh language, senior lecturer Rustemova A.I.) as well as Talip Zhaidary and Kusainova Zhadyra with “Finland Education System Advantages and Disadvantages” (report in the English language, senior lecturer Isabayeva B.K.). First-year Bachelor’s degree students of the Physics and Technology Faculty of the Kazakh National University also demonstrated their active participation, specifically, Zaidyn Marat with "Education in China" (report in the English language, senior lecturer Gumarova Sh.B.). B.), and Zhanerke Kazenova with "Education in the Republic of Kazakhstan" and Ainur Sadirova with "Success in the Life is a Qualitative Education" (reports in the English language, senior lecturer Orazayeva G. A.).

            The conference was held online on the ZOOM platform in the Kazakh, English and Russian languages.

            The conference began with welcoming remarks of the moderator Orazayeva G.A. (senior lecturer of the Department of Foreign Languages). Participants of the conference showed a very robust approach to the topic of “Quality Education" since this challenge is indeed global and being discussed at both the national and international level. The reports were interesting, informative and covered various spheres, beginning from the university ratings to the main aspects of sports and cultural life of students.

           In conclusion, the moderator thanked all participants of the conference for their insightful presentations, and also expressed her gratitude to Kaziyeva M.N., the head of the Master’s degree students of L.N. Gumilyov ENU, and to the organizers of the conference. She emphasized that such traits as talent, enthusiasm, hard work, persistence and aspiration will help the younger generation to receive a high-quality national education.
