         On November 30, 2021, the book: "Maurice Shamis (Simashko)" was presented at the National Library of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which was published by the results of the First International Literary Readings dedicated to the creative work of Maurice Simashko (1924-2000), the People's Writer of Kazakhstan. The book is devoted to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This is a joint project of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan, the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress, M.O. Auezov Institute of Literature and Art of The Committee of Science of the Ministry of Education and Science of RK, association of legal entities of "Mitsva" RK Association. The editorial board of the book includes Murat Auezov, Kenzhekhan Matyzhanov, Alexander Karlyukevich, Svetlana Ananyeva (editor-in-chief), Alexander Baron, Inessa Chugainova. The readings attracted the attention of domestic and foreign writers, publicists, journalists, scientists and cultural figures, university professors.
