On November 17, 2022, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University together with the National Center for Advanced Training "Orleu" organized a training seminar for teachers of general educational schools of Kazakhstan.
On November 11, 2022, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Literary Theory of the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University organized and held an International scientific-practical conference, devoted to the 95th anniversary of the outstanding scientist, public figure T. Kakishuly, "Tursynbek Kakishuly and key problems of history, criticism of Kazakh literature". The conference was attended by well-known scientists, researchers and young researchers from Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Turkey.
Within the framework of the conference, 3 sections worked:
1. The principles of Tursynbek Kakishuly in the study and study of national literary studies;
2. Problems of studying personality in T.Kakishula's research;
3. New paradigms of studying and teaching the history and criticism of Kazakh literature.
On 10 November 2022, students of the Faculty of Philology met Mr Fabrice Neveu, the Consulate General of France in Almaty and doctor of political sciences, in the Al-Farabi Library of Al-Farabi KazNU.
On November 8, 2022, was held an event on the topic "Cuisine of different countries: Table manner in different countries". During the event, students learned about the food habits of different countries such as Kazakhstan, Japan, Italy, Turkey, India, China, Great Britain, Russia, France and Iran.
On November 4, 2022 at 16.00, students and colleagues were invited to the round table talk "The Pride of the Nation – Zhumabek Tashenov!". The event was dedicated to October 25, the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The round table was held with the participation of the 1st year students of Higher School of Economics and Business, specializing in Management, Logistics, Finance.
On November 3, 2022, from 12.30 p.m to 1.20 p.m under the guidance of senior teachers of the Faculty of Philology, the Department of Foreign Languages K.A. Aisultanova, G.A. Musanova , L.M. Aliyarova, G.K. Atabayeva G. K., as well as the 1st course students of the Faculty of Law, an educational event was organized within the framework of the university project "Brighten The Corner Where You Are!" (Айналаңды нұрландыр!) on the topic "Kindness saves the world!". The educational event was held in the auditorium №400 of the Faculty of Law.
On November 3, 2022 a literary event, dedicated to «The book of Words» by Abai Kunanbayev was held in the framework of the project "100 books".
On November 1, 2022 in room №323, senior lectures of the Department of Foreign Languages Tleugabylova Z.A., Mahazhanova L.M., Kulzhanbekova G.K., Khalenova A.R. held a round table talk "Close friends of King Arthur - Sarmatians!". The event was held as part of the plan of the Movie Fans Club with the participation of 1st year students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, majoring in Finance.
On November 1, 2022, at the Philological Faculty of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, there was a meeting of students, teachers with the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, artistic critic, scientist Yerkin Shukman. The meeting topic was “Kulaktan karga boidy alar”. The organizer of this event is the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature.
On October 27, 2022, the International scientific conference, devoted to academician M.O. Auezov’s 125th anniversary, the classic of Kazakh literature, a major public and statesman, was held at Ankara University.
