On December 3, 2022, students of the Oriental Studies Faculty and the Faculty of International Relations under the guidance of their professors of the departments of foreign languages A.K. Shayakhmet and of diplomatic translation M.K. Murzagaliyeva held the annual English “Thanksgiving Day 2022” within the university program ‘Brighten up around yourself!’

In order to popularize the Message of the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Kemeluly for the people of Kazakhstan, who proposed competent initiatives for the development of a new Kazakhstan and took responsibility for the bright future of the country, on December 2 the students of the 201st group of Kazakh philology of the Department of A. Baitursynov Kazakh Linguistics, the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi KazNU held a political and educational event.

     On December 2, 2022, at 12:00, the event : “My independent Kazakhstan” was held within the framework of the “Rukhani Zhangyru” project. The 1st and 4th year students of the Faculty of History, Ethnology and Anthropology took part in the event. This event was organized by teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages: Aliyarova L.M., Zhirenshina K.A., Atabayeva G.K., Utegenova K.Ch., and Abdizhappar A.

On December 2, 2022, the Department of Kazakh Literature and Theory of Literature of the Philological Faculty organized and held a curatorial hour for 2nd-year students  of the major  "Kazakh Language and Literature", dedicated to discussingthe President of the Republic of Kazakhstan,  Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's program. Within the framework of this event, the main directions of the President's Message  to the people of Kazakhstan and the country's development program were discussed.

On December 2, 2022, the Faculty of Philology of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a curator hour  on the topic:  "The New Program of the President" with 2nd-year students, 204 groups of major  6B01701 - "Kazakh language and literature".

On December 1, within the framework of “100 books” project according to which all student of Al-Farabi KazNU should read each book outlined by the given above project  in the  dormitory of the Faculty of Philology, № 17 , the literary evening on the topic: "Queen of Poetry" was held.

On November 30, 2022, from 14:30 to 15:30, the third meeting of the English language club "English through culture" was held. The meeting of the club was held in accordance with the plan for November of 2022-2023 academic year with the participation of the club members and organized by the club leaders, senior lecturers of the Department of Foreign Languages Aliyarova L.M., Khalenova A.R. The third session of the club was devoted to the topic "Intercultural friendship". The participants of the club meeting were the 1st year students of the Faculty of Law.

On November 30, the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted a literary evening on the topic: "Gabit Musrepov's amazing life story  Gabit Musrepov", dedicated to the 120th anniversary of the famous Kazakh writer, hero of Socialist Labor, classic writer, Gabit Makhmutuly Musrepov . The evening was organized by the A. Baitursynuly Kazakh Linguistics Department.

On November 30, 2022 the students of 303 and 304 groups of Kazakh Philology major organized the educational on the topic: «National values  are  fortress of the nation» in the dormitory № 17 of the Faculty of Philology of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

     On the occasion of Gani Muratbaev’s 120th anniversary, an educational event on the topic: "Gani is an example of the morality for young generation" was organized by the teachers of the Department of Foreign Languages together with the first-year students of the Law Faculty.
