PhD candidate, Head of the department of modern research methods at the Institute of Economics SC of the MSHE RK, Moldabekova Aisulu, and 2nd course PhD student of “Management” department Amangeldiyeva Birganym completed a research internship at the University of Camerino (Camerino, Italy) as part of the research project AP09259851“Development of the circular economy in Kazakhstan: potential, trends, prospects” from November 06 to November 13, 2022. 

The University of Camerino (UNICAM) began its academic activity in 1336. In addition, independent university rankings place the University of Camerinoamong the top 50 universities in Italy. As part of the internship, offline and online meetings were held with university scientists, a review of research on the project topic was carried out, and intermediate results of the project were also presented. At meetings with foreign professors, issues of introducing and developing a circular economy in the country were discussed, along with support from the state. Additionally, cooperation opportunities were considered in the field of joint scientific projects and programs between UNICAM University and Al-FarabiKazNU.

During the scientific internship, the project members, together with foreign professors, discussed a questionnaire regarding the planned expert interview.
