In 2022, the conference took place on April 6-8 in offline and online formats.The Department of Fundamental Medicine at the section "Actual Issues of Medicine, Public Health and Health" was presented by 2nd year students of the Faculty of General Medicine Amanbek Aruzhan and Makhambetova Aziza. The studies were devoted to the study of the role of various factors in primary infertility and the study of cell therapy for spinal cord injury. The works aroused great interest of the audience, interesting questions were asked to the speakers.According to the results of the jury, the work of Aziza Makhambetova "Modern positions of cellular therapy of spinal cord injuries" was highly appreciated and was awarded the third place!

On March 3, in the Kaznu Library, the grand opening of the student organization "QUAZAR" was held with the support of the Higher School of Medicine and the Faculty of Medicine and Health. The goals of this organization are:

1. Improve student academic and social life.

3. Provide a platform to discuss issues.

4. To provide an opportunity for better communication between GSOM students and other medical universities in the world.

5. Provide a platform for the dissemination of important academic resources and knowledge.

6. Promote interesting events such as sports tournaments, Model United Nations, food festivals, medical knowledge tournaments, adventure trips, clinical camps, etc.

7. Represent the School of Medicine and our faculty at various national and international events.

Within the framework of the National Day of Awareness of Inclusive Education, the European Union project Eramus + DECIDE, a competition of projects is announced among Bachelor and Master students of our university.. The theme of the competition is "University of the Future: Without Borders and Limitations." Students will need to submit their projects by 09.12.2021 to the email address: decideprojectkaznu@gmail.com. The subject of the message should be "Design Competition". Languages: Kazakh, Russian, English. The winners will receive diplomas of the first, second and third degree, the rest - certificates of participation.

To achieve an early team victory of the national team of Al-Farabi KazNU in X competition! The Summer Universiade of universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan in organizing and holding events is a great merit of the Department of Physical Education and Sports of the Faculty of Medicine and Health. According to the results of the competition, held in 15 sports in Almaty and 6 sports in Turkestan, KazNU team took 14 first places in Almaty and 4 first places in Turkestan. At the Closing Ceremonies of the XI Summer Universiade among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan on June 9, 2021, for the early victory of the KazNU team in the Universiade competitions, the head of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Faculty of Medicine and Health of Al-Farabi KazNU was awarded with the badge "Excellence in Physical Education" Dilmakhanbetov Ermek Kirgizbaevich National Scientific and Practical Center of Physical Culture MES RK.

From May 4 to June 9, 2021, the XI Summer Universiade among the universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held. The competition was held in 30 sports among 60 universities of the country. According to the results of the competition, with a large margin in points Al-Farabi Kazakh National University became the 7-time leader of the Universiade. Our athletes have shown their sportsmanship and excellence in all sports.
