City Clinical Hospital No. 1 has been providing patients with qualified medical care for over 35 years. This is a modern multidisciplinary medical organization, created to provide emergency and planned inpatient, obstetric, consultative and diagnostic medical care to residents of the city of Almaty and regions of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The clinic today has 14 budgetary departments, including a maternity hospital with 3 departments, an operating unit, 2 intensive care units, 2 paid departments: a paid therapy department, a paid neurology and neurorehabilitation department), a paid maternity ward, paid surgical beds (surgery, thoracic surgery ), auxiliary services - CDC, physiotherapy department, radiation diagnostics department, CSO, pharmacy, centralized laboratory for organizing primary health care in Nauryzbay and Auezov districts of the city.

Types of assistance provided - inpatient, obstetric, rehabilitation, inpatient replacement and consultative and diagnostic assistance; form of medical care - specialized and highly specialized care.

Bed capacity - planned capacity - 421 (349 budget and 72 paid beds). Budget branches account for 82.1%. Day hospital - 40 beds. Maternity hospital - 80 beds.

All these types of activities are carried out on the basis of appropriate licenses, permits, certificates, admissions of the authorized state bodies of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

LLP "Smart Health University City" (hereinafter - Smart Health was established in July 2014 as part of a public-private partnership (PPP). When creating the Medical Center, the South Korean experience of effective management was introduced with the active participation of partners from the South Korean University of Yoncei University and its Severance Clinic.

For the purpose of practical study of the Korean experience, Smart Health specialists underwent an internship and gained invaluable experience in management and logistics in one of the best hospitals in South Korea at the "Kangnam Severance" hospital.

In 2016, the volume and range of medical services provided expanded. The medical center became the base for training students of the departments of the medical faculty and the Higher School of Health, as well as the faculty of biology and biotechnology of the KazNU named after al-Farabi in the following areas:

1) therapeutic profile (therapy, psychology, neurology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, dermatovenerology / cosmetology, medical rehabilitology )

2) surgical profile (general surgery, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, ophthalmology, urology, oncology / mammology)

3) dental services

4) consultative and diagnostic direction (ultrasound diagnostics of organs and systems, ECG, X-ray studies, hematological research ).

Smart Health operates a day hospital and a telemedicine room in cooperation with Pussan National University (South Korea).

The polyclinic serves the population of micro-districts and new residential complexes of the Nauryzbay region.

The polyclinic provides qualified medical care to adults and children.

The design capacity is 500 visits per shift.

Reception of doctors: gynecologist, endocrinologist, cardiologist, pediatrician, gastroenterologist, allergist, mammologist, oncologist, urologist, andrologist, cardiologist, ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist, therapist.

Services:

* Ultrasound diagnostics of all organs and tissues, X-ray diagnostics, offices of an ophthalmologist, otorhinolaryngologist, thoracic and abdominal coloproctology, etc.

* It is planned to conduct screening studies for the early detection of colorectal cancer and stomach;

* Held mammographic study, X-ray diagnostics and fluorographic research,

* Cabinet of thoracic and abdominal coloproctology.

* A rehabilitation room for patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system was opened.
