On May 30, 2022, within the walls of the largest university in the country, a Memorandum of Mutual Cooperation was signed between NAO “Kazakh National University named after. al-Farabi” and RSU “Department of Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the City of Almaty of the Committee for Sanitary and Epidemiological Control of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan”.

On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the Independence of our Republic, the Department of Health Policy and Organization of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University from December 5 to 13 announced a republican essay contest among undergraduates of medical universities "Health development over the years of independence: my view." The conditions and requirements of the competition were sent to the mail of all medical universities in the country. Since the announcement of the official time of the competition, undergraduates studying in medical schools from all over Kazakhstan have sent their essays to a special mail of the competition. The competition was attended by 18 undergraduates from NAO KazNU named after al-Farabi, NAO “Semey Medical University”, KazNMU named after S. D. Asfendirov, “West Kazakhstan Medical University named after Marat Ospanov”, “Medical University of Karaganda”, etc. .
On December 21, 2021, at the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Department of Health Policy and Organization solemnly announced the results of the university essay competition among students on the topic: "as I understand UHC". The essay contest, as well as the awards ceremony, was held online on the Zoom platform due to the pandemic in the country. From the day the competition was announced, students sent their essays to konkurs.essay@mail.ru in accordance with the requirements of the competition. 25 students from different faculties of our university took part in the competition. All works were interesting. Participants tried not only to highlight the problems and achievements, but also to suggest ways to solve some problems, and missed opportunities were also highlighted along with the achievements.The commission, having carefully studied all the essays, was guided not only by the original view on the given topic, but also by the richness of the language and style of presentation.
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Public Fund "Fraction of Youth of Kazakhstan" and the youth wing "Jas Otan" with the support of the social development department under the akimat of the city of Almaty, the project "CREATIVE JASTAR" was held.
The project was attended by a 1-year undergraduate student in the specialty "Health Management" of the Department of Health Policy and Organization of the Faculty of Medicine and Health care of the Al-Farabi Kazakh national University - Qaldarbek Orynbasar Nurlanuly.
