Students life

Social and educational work at the Higher School of Medicine is carried out in accordance with the plan of social and educational work of the university, school and departments. Students and teachers of the Higher School of Medicine take an active part in all activities of the school, faculty, university. In order to preserve and enhance the traditions of the University, its history, symbols, the prestige of education at Al-Farabi KazNU are promoted, activities are carried out aimed at creating a corporate spirit among the students, knowledge of the KazNU Student's Code of Honor, the basic normative documents of KazNU (quizzes, round tables). Creative contests, concerts, thematic and festive events are organized with students of the School and the University. A set of activities is being carried out aimed at the formation of attitudes of tolerant consciousness, prevention and counteraction to manifestations of terrorism and extremism among students. Much attention is paid to the vocational guidance of students. As part of orientation activities, professional contests, Olympiads, conferences in medical specialties are organized, motivating meetings with famous people, leaders in healthcare. Students participate in patient care within the framework of educational and industrial practice, in the organization of actions dedicated to the World Day of Clean Hands, World Heart Day, World AIDS Day, etc., in the "Open Days" organized by the clinical bases of the University.
