On May 27, 2023 at 12.30 pm, the Al-Farabi Higher School of Economics and Business of KazNU held the annual traditional HSEB Graduate Day.

KazNU them. Al-Farabi is the Alma-mater of many outstanding Kazakh scientists, statesmen, well-known businessmen, rectors, athletes who are proud of the country.

Opened the “HSE Graduate Day – 2023” by the Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Candidate of Economics, Acting Professor Bimendieva L.A. After that, according to tradition, the guests and graduates sang the International Students Anthem "Gaudeamus".

Next, a welcome speech was given to the graduate of 2013 (10 years since graduation) to D.T. Mukaev, Deputy of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Chairman of the Council of the HSEB Alumni Association. Mukaev D.T. delivered a speech and gave nominal scholarships to 4 best HSE students in the amount of 400,000 tenge. 

The meeting of the Council of the Alumni Association continued with the greeting of the participants: a graduate of the Faculty of Economics in 1989, Doctor of Economics, Professor of the Department of Management, Spanov M. U. and Ph.D. Department "Finance and Accounting" Baydauletov M. B.

Anniversary graduates of 1993 Askar Izbasarov (Kazakhstan), Maria Meshcheryakova (Russia), Alkhandi Bassam (Iran) - group PE-88 (Political Economy) congratulated the Higher School of Economics and Business.

With a musical greeting from the students of the Higher School of Economics, on behalf of the Department of Business Technologies, a graduate of the 4th year of the specialty Logistics, Seydigali Yeldos, performed the songs "Kok tudyn zhelbiregeni" and "Ustazym".

B. - Deputy Akim of the Rayymbek rural district of the Karasai district of the Almaty region (2018, 5 years from the date of graduation from the university); Sarinova A., a graduate of the specialty "Accounting and Audit" in 2013 - Director of Aiser Audit LLP; Sabidulina A., graduate of the specialty "Finance" in 2018 - Air Astana JSC, senior financial inspector of tax reporting; Esenzhol D., Graduate of the specialty "Finance 2018", Chief Analyst of the Department of Strategy and Analysis of the Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the regulation and development of the financial market; Abilov M.S. - Graduated in 2013 - Director of Cement Plus M LLP; Mukhametzhanov D.N. - 2013 graduate - Akim of the Karasaz rural district; Tursyn Abylay Oralovich 2008 graduate - Chief Engineer of TADS LLP, accredited consultant of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development. They shared their memories of their student years, their experience, and expressed their hope for continued active interaction with students not only within the framework of events organized by the HSEB and departments, but also at the level of informal working and personal meetings.

After the performances of the graduates of the anniversary years, students of the Higher School of Economics performed a musical greeting. On behalf of the department "Finance and Accounting" Khusainov Adilet, 3rd year student, specialty Finance, with the song "Bul omirde".

With a welcoming congratulation from the graduates of 2023, the student dean, Askarova Maryam Sabitovna, spoke.

By tradition, personal scholarships were given to the best students and material subsidies were provided from graduates of different years. In support of university projects, alumni participants awarded scholarships to 40 students.

At the end of the meeting, the dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Ph.D. Professor Bimendiyeva L.A., the results were summed up: expanding the base of graduates, developing connections, creating master classes, guest lectures, encouraging students to participate in various prestigious competitions, increasing academic mobility, developing networking, etc.

The HSEB Alumni Day ended with a memorable photo session accompanied by the Musical Number "Koshtasu Valsi", which touched the participants of the meeting with its melodiousness and deep words of the song's lyrics.

Anniversary graduates of different years, who today represent government agencies, the scientific community, the business community, partner universities from Kazakhstan, near and far abroad, teachers and students of the Higher School of Economics, took an active part in the Graduate Day 2023!
