COVID-19 negatively affects the business activity of national economies and increases tension in the global market. And in the future, it can significantly weaken the production potential of the global economy - as a result of the closure of enterprises, companies and an increase in the number of unemployed. In turn, it is developing countries, including countries of the Commonwealth of Independent States, that may find themselves in a special zone of economic risk.

In this regard, the cooperation of the CIS countries in combating the negative consequences of coronavirus infection is important. The economies of these countries are highly dependent on each other; there are close cooperative, investment, and migration ties between them. Consequently, the CIS countries only together can successfully solve the unprecedented difficulties that arise. Mobilization and effective implementation of joint efforts will achieve the goals.
