On April 6-7, the International Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi alemi" was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. The topic of the conference on the direction of the Higher School of Economics and Business is "The economic development of Kazakhstan in the framework of the project “One belt, one way”: alternative views of scientists". 

The conference reviewed the reports of the theoretical, experimental and applied research in various branches of science, particularly in economics. The languages of the conference – Kazakh, Russian and English.

The conference was organized by sections in the following areas:

1. The New Silk Road – the highway of sustainable development of the economy and innovations of the 21st century
2. Promising areas of transport and logistics infrastructure and marketing services of the economic belt in the context of the Silk Road
3. Promotion of a new model of interstate cooperation of the countries of Eurasia: managerial aspects
4. Silk Road Economic Belt: financial risks and opportunities.
   

According to the results of the conference, 307 participants' works were accepted and published. The winners in 4 sections and faculty were determined and awarded.
