Graduates of KazNU. al-Farabi of different years celebrated the traditional Alumni Day with great scope. As in the past year, the meeting place was the Arc de Triomphe of students and graduates of the Mogilik El. Representatives of state structures, scientific community, universities-partners from Kazakhstan, far and near abroad, teachers and students came to the annual holiday, which is already celebrated for the eighth time. Graduates' day is celebrated from 2011, and it is aimed at raising and strengthening the corporate spirit and solidarity. After all, the university for all graduates is the second house where they are expected and the doors for them are always open.
By tradition, on the Day of Graduates, the coordinating work of the faculties and the Association with alumni were summed up. Detailed information was sounded by the executive secretary of the Presidium of the Alumni Association, a graduate of the Faculty of Law, 82, Amirkhan Yestayev.
It should be noted that annually our graduates and partners send funds to support students and for the last three years 1,310 students have received scholarships in the amount of 343 million tenge. Alumni and deans of faculties, chief editors of the mass media also graduated.
The solemn event was continued by the performance of the concert orchestra of Akim of Almaty, under the control of the People's Artist of the Republic of Kazakhstan Murat Serkebayev. In the concert program Zhamilya Serkebaeva spoke.
