On March 29, 2018 students of Marketing, Management, State and local administration specialties participated in the final round of the Republican student subject Olympiad on the topic "Innovative ideas are the way to success!", organized by the Management and Marketing department of the Higher school of economics and business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. Intellectual competitions are the opportunity to form a whole cluster of professional competencies of students. In the difficult competition, they got a chance to prove their idea for viability, value, because the jury consists of employers and sponsors, representatives of the business environment who are interested in original, non-standard student ideas. Who knows, may be in the future it will unfold into a large-scale business activities. In addition, it all started with a small student idea at the contest...

Today it is very important to find a young generation of people who are motivated and an interest in research activities. It is important to promote the development of actively thinking young people, striving to create, promote their projects. Such competitions give an opportunity to "take a closer look" to such young people. After all, the objectives of such competition are very different: to determine the level of students’ preparation in the specialty, to find unique business ideas for implementation, to promote cooperation between the educational and business environment.

The Republican Student Olympiad held in two stages. Total number of represented on the initial tour scientific ideas were 58. It were projects of the Management, Marketing, State and local administration specialties from all over Kazakhstan (Astana, Almaty, Aktobe, Atyrau, Aktau, Karaganda, Kyzylorda, Shymkent, Kokshetau, Turkestan, Uralsk, Ust-Kamenogorsk). The best seven teams from each specialty went to the finals.It is gratifying that finalists also include students of the Higher School of Economics and Business, who worthily presented Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in their specialties. The contest was an unique opportunity to reveal the research abilities of talented students.

They became in the Marketing specialty:1^st place – “ОтрядX” (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University);2^nd place – “Timeхакеры” (Karaganda State University named after E. Buketov) and “Eleven” (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University);3^rd place – “Young minds” (ALMA University), “Кайдзен”(M. Utemissov West Kazakhstan State University) and “Потомки Зевса” (Turan University).

They became in the Management specialty: 1^st place – “Bossу Group” (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University);2^nd place – “Великие умы” (Karaganda economic university of kazpotrebsoyuz) and “UNITY” (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University);3^rd place – “ITM” (International Information Technologies University), “Форсаж”( D. Serikbayev EKSTU) and “Триумф” (M.Auezov south Kazakhstan state university).

They became in the State and local administration specialty:1^st place – “Конгресс” (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University); 2^nd place – “GREEN ENERGY” (Narxoz University) and “THE MILLENIALS” (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University);3^rd place – “Мансап” (K.Zhubanov Aktobe regional state university), “Шамшырақ” (Zhangir khan West Kazakhstan agrarian-technical university) and “Әділет” (Karaganda economic university of Kazpotrebsoyuz).
