On March 2, 2019 in the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, a meeting of the Republican Educational and Methodical Council was held on the theme "The organization of the educational process in universities in conditions of reforming the education system". Deputy Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business on Research-Innovation Affairs and International Relations, PhD, Coordinator of Erasmus + ENINEDU project Aknur Zhidebekkyzy made a presentation about the European experience in creating a system of interaction between universities and business sector.

According to the results of the «QS World University Ranking by Subject 2019» Al-Farabi KazNU became the first among the Universities of the CIS countries to enter the top 51-100 HEI’s in the world in the specialty of «Modern Linguistics», rising by 50 positions. In total, six specialties of the leading Kazakhstani University have been listed in this ranking.

February 18, 2019 ADA University (Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan), together with the Azerbaijani Embassy in Kazakhstan and Al-Farabi KazNU  made a presentation on the educational programs of the magistracy in the Diplomatic Academy of Azerbaijan.

February 16, 2019 the research group of the project “Improving the integration of higher education and corporate sectors in accordance with the new social environment - ENINEDU together with Astel Nurkasymkyzy, Director for Development of the Elite Personnel Holding, held a guest lecture for the 2 nd year students in the specialty“ Marketing ”.

On 13 february, 2019, an open class of the Kazakh languages was held at the Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi KazNU.
