On April 9-10, 2019, an international scientific-practical conference “KAZAKHSTAN IN THE MULTIPOLAR WORLD: ECONOMIC SCENARIOSE” was held at the Kazakh National University within the framework of the VI International Farabian Readings, and dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 70th anniversary of the Higher School of Economics and Business.
The international scientific conference of students and young scientists “Farabi Alemi”, held on April 8-11, 2019, on the second section «Factors of modern economic growth: theory and practice» were submitted an application for 79 articles, of which 32 students from different economic specialties spoke. The purpose of the section is to conduct a retrospective analysis of the development of the real sector of the economy of Kazakhstan, the factors of modern economic growth in various sectors of the economy and ways to improve its efficiency.

The group of masters degree students of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, consisting of 26 people, successfully completed a scientific internship at the University of Oxford, which is a top university according to world rankings.
From February 4 of this year students from the al-Farabi Kazakh National University (KazNU) are studying at the Institute of Economics and Management as part of academic mobility.
