On April 6, 2021, the plenary session of the conference "Economics of the Post-pandemic World:  Young researchers view" was held in the framework of the International Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi Alemi". Within the framework of the conference, the work of sections in the following areas is organized: Socio-economic transformations and transformation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the post-pandemic world; Current trends in business technologies in the post-pandemic period; Realities and strategy for the development of financial mechanisms and accounting and analytical system in the context of a pandemic; Management and state regulation of economic processes in the post-pandemic conditions of Kazakhstan.

On April 8-9, 2021, the Higher School of Economics and Business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University will hold an International Scientific and Practical Conference on the topic: "Impact of the pandemic on the achieving of the sustainable development goals: trends and effects".

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the overall achievement of the SDGs in the future, as well as to identify the main mechanisms for reducing the negative impacts in developing countries. The leading domestic and foreign scientists and experts will participate on the work of the conference session.

Gumilyov, Nur-Sultan (Astana) are holding an International Scientific and methodological conference on the theme "Financial literacy in labor collectives, business and educational environment: global and regional trends and tendencies” on 6^th and 7^th of April, 2021.

On March 30, 2021, the Higher School of Economics and Business hosted an online seminar organized by the Young Scientists Council on the topic: "Using economic and mathematical methods for data analysis". Seminar speaker: PhD Temerbulatova Zh.S. During the seminar, the following topics were discussed: the use of econometric methods; data collection, data types; descriptive analysis, correlation analysis; Pearson pair correlation coefficient, correlation matrix; scatter plot; advantages of using panel data; presentation of the results of panel data analysis; model equation.

On March 11, 2021, Stanislav Dubinchik, director of marketing and business-projects of OLX Kazakhstan, held a master-class on the topic "The reality of marketing in Kazakhstan" for students and undergraduates of the specialty "Marketing" of the Department of Business Technologies of Al-Farabi KazNU. Within the framework of the master class, the students and undergraduates, through practical examples, learned about the current trends in the development of the marketing industry, the use of modern marketing approaches in OLX Kazakhstan.

Higher School of Economics and Business of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University invites you to take part in the International Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Farabi alemi", which will be held on April 6, 2021. Students, graduates, young scientists of the Republic of Kazakhstan and foreign countries are invited to participate in the conference. The topic of the conference on the direction of the Higher School of Economics and Business is "The economy of the post-pandemic world: the view of young researchers". The conference will review the reports of the theoretical, experimental and applied research in various branches of science, particularly in economics.

Today, the 51^st International Scientific and Methodological Conference on the topic "Assessment of the expected learning outcomes in educational programs and academic disciplines in the context of a competence-based approach" has completed in the "al-Farabi Kazakh National University ". The conference was held online simultaneously in 13 rooms on the ZOOM platform from March 17 to 19. In room 1, there was a discussion of the learning outcomes of educational programs in the 6B04 - Business, Management and Law group of specialties, which included the Higher School of Economics and Business, the Faculty of Law and the Faculty of International Relations of the Faculty of International Relations.

Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosted an online award ceremony for the winners of the "Best University Teacher-2020" competition. The solemn event began with a speech by the Minister of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Askhat Aimagambetov. The Minister congratulated 150 winners of the competition from 46 universities of the republic, including 18 teachers of KazNU. Galiya Dauliyeva, Acting Professor of the Department of Economics, was also awarded the award.

On March 16, 2021, Violeta Krasavskaya, marketing analyst, business coach, marketing and advertising consultant, MBA, director of the Marketing Department of the Association of Advertising Specialists of Kazakhstan and marketing director of the jewelry company "Armat" held a master class on the topic " How to calculate your marketing budget?" for students and undergraduates of the specialty "Marketing" and "Logistic" of the Department of "Business-Technologies" al-Farabi KazNU.
