Today, many parents face a lot of questions: where my child should go to learn? What specialty he/she choose and whether it will be able to provide his/her future? Which University to choose and will it be in demand in the future?

         Today there is one motivation - stability.

         Work in the Customs Office has always been and remains to be prestigious. Customs service prospects are growing due to Kazakhstan's membership in international economic unions. Kazakhstan's neighboring with such giants as China and Russia allows significantly developing commercial exchange and entering the world market. Geopolitical position of the country initially assumed its entry into the reborn “Silk Road” that united Southeast Asia and Europe. Through the Silk Road trade is constantly expanding and increasing, which seriously affects the economic development of the country and its role in international politics.

Undergraduates of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law took part in the organization and holding of the international forum "Silk Road", organized by the Department of State Revenue in Almaty. For high-quality work in the organizing committee, Undergraduates Begalieva Janel and Tolegen Ayazhan were awarded a Letter of Thanks from the head of the State Revenue Department in Almaty.DKD in Almaty is a reliable partner of the department in the field of training personnel for customs authorities, organizing the practice of students and undergraduates as a base of practice, conducting joint scientific and career guidance events.

On 06.04.2023, doctor of law, professor G. A. Kuanalieva held a master class "methods of writing scientific articles for the journals WOS and Scopus" for the teaching staff of the Department of Customs, Finance and environmental law. During the master class, the following issues were considered: standards for the preparation of a scientific article; algorithm for working with a scientific article; the formation of a brand of a researcher-scientist, etc.

Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Professor of Al-Farabi KazNU Lyazzat Kalymbekovna Yerkinbayeva was appointed Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi KazNU.

Lyazzat Kalymbekovna Yerkinbayeva has been successfully and fruitfully engaged in scientific and teaching activities as a professor of the Faculty of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University until recently.

We congratulate Lyazzat Kalymbekovna on her appointment and wish her success in her work for the benefit of her alma mater! 

The Al-Farabi Kazakh National University hosts the International Farabi Forum "Philosophy of Language and the Language of Philosophy of Abu Nasr al-Farabi", dedicated to the 30^th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Center.

 The International Farabi Forum is a significant event that promotes the study and dissemination of the heritage of the great thinker of mankind, al-Farabi. Its main goal is to comprehend the spiritual, historical and philosophical foundation of the prosperity of modern society through the rich heritage of al-Farabi.
