Doctor of Law, Associate Professor, Professor of Al-Farabi KazNU Lyazzat Kalymbekovna Yerkinbayeva was appointed Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs for Academic Affairs of Al-Farabi KazNU.

Lyazzat Kalymbekovna Yerkinbayeva has been successfully and fruitfully engaged in scientific and teaching activities as a professor of the Faculty of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University until recently.

 Lyazzat Kalymbekovna Ekrinbaeva graduated from the Faculty of Law of the Kirov Kazakh State University with a degree in jurisprudence in 1989.

She has passed the professional path from a laboratory assistant at the Department of Civil Law to a professor at the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law at the Faculty of Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University. She headed the Department of Natural Resource and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University. She gained experience in administrative, while being the first vice-rector for educational and methodological work of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University.

From 1984 to 1989, she studied at the full-time department of the Faculty of Law of the Kirov Kazakh State University.In 1995, she defended her PhD thesis on the topic: "Legal regulation of compensation for damage to the earth."In 2008 , she defended her doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Agrarian legal relations in the Republic of Kazakhstan".

A mentor, Professor Baysalov Sagindyk Baysalovich, played a big role in his professional development. He became the inspirer of a creative path in legal science.After graduating from the Faculty of Law of KazGU named after S.M. Kirov, in 1989 she began her career, was accepted as a laboratory assistant at the Department of Civil Law of the Faculty of Law of KazGU.From 1989-1992, she studied at the postgraduate full-time department of the Department of Agricultural and Environmental Law of the Kirov State University.From

1992 to 2002, she held the positions of assistant, senior lecturer, Associate Professor of the Department of Natural Resource and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.From 2002 to 2011, she held the position of Head of the Department of Natural Resource and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, then the department was renamed the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.From August 2011 to August 2018, she held the position of the first Vice–rector  for UMR of I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu State University.From 2018 to the present, he holds the position of Professor of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.In 2010, she became the holder of the title "The Best University teacher", then in the 2013-2014 academic year she studied under the international scholarship "Bolashak", within which she completed a fruitful scientific internship and language training at Brunel University and the University of Reading (Great Britain).Under her scientific supervision, 6 candidates of law, 4 Doctors of Philosophy (PhD) have been trained. Currently, he is the supervisor of four PhD students. She has her own scientific school, students who work in different parts of our country and abroad.Yerkinbayeva Lazzat Kalymbekovna is actively engaged in scientific activities, has experience in participating and managing grant scientific projects of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was a developer and expert on a number of projects of legislative and other regulatory legal acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan, was an expert of UNDP, OSCE.From 2020 to the present, it has been included in the register of experts for conducting scientific anti-corruption expertise of draft regulatory legal acts. Since February of this year, she has been elected an expert of the newly created Constitutional Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan.For her contribution to the development of the legal science of Kazakhstan in 2009 and 2010, she was awarded the badge of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan "KR gylymyn damytuga enbek sinirgeni ushin". For her contribution to the development of the legal system of the Republic of Kazakhstan, she was awarded the medals "10 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "10 years of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan", "20 years of the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan".
