Goal 14: Conserve and sustainably use the oceans, seas and marine resources

OP is among the best educational programs in Kazakhstan in the direction of "7M044212 – Maritime and energy law" in terms of the demand for graduates in the labor market, the number of winners and prize-winners of Olympiads, the average score of the UNT. The graduating department is the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, which was formed as a result of the university's transition to the rank of research, which meets international requirements and is conditioned by the rules dictated by the modern educational and scientific environment. 
The purpose of the OP is to train highly qualified specialists on the basis of leading universities of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and Baku State University (hereinafter BSU), who have a high civic position, are proactive, sociable, professionally proficient in foreign languages and are able to carry out activities in the field of marine industry management and energy security, marine and energy law and scientific and pedagogical sphere.
The mission of the OP is the formation of human resources–highly qualified specialists who are competitive in the domestic and international labor market in accordance with their requests and prospects for the development of the country and the region.
The standard term for mastering the Master's degree program in the specialty "7M044212 – Maritime and Energy Law" is 2 years (for full-time education). This double degree program (hereinafter referred to as the "Program") is a program that awards a Master's degree in law to students of two universities who have completed a two-degree program.  
Undergraduates who have completed the requirements of the Program will receive a master's degree from Baku State University (Master of Law of BSU) and a master's degree from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University (Master of Law in the educational program "7M044212 – Maritime and Energy Law").
General education subjects will be studied by undergraduates at their university.
The program is based on a budget and fee-based basis, is practice-oriented, taught in Kazakh, Russian and English. Qualification awarded: Master of Law in the educational program "7M044212 – Maritime and Energy Law". The curriculum of the educational program fully corresponds to the basic curriculum in the specialty "7M044212 – Maritime and Energy Law".
