On February 24, 2023, at the Faculty of Law of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi "Open Doors Day" was held. Graduates of schools of the city and Almaty region were invited to the faculty. The route taken by the schoolchildren covered lecture halls, classrooms named after distinguished lawyers of Kazakhstan, courtrooms, forensic and custom testing facilities. The guests also visited the museum of the University, the Situation Center, the student center "Keremet". The route was completed by the library of the University, where they met with the leadership of the faculty, representatives of the Departments, students, masters, and doctoral students.

 Department of Customs, Finance and Environmental Law was represented by undergraduates in three languages of instruction: Kazakh, Russian, and English. Among the undergraduates were graduates of the Faculty of Law KazNU and other universities of Kazakhstan. They told to pupils why they chose the faculty of law of Kazakh National University after Al-Farabi. Eleonora Nikolaeva, having graduated from the Kazakh Ablai Khan University of International Relations and World Languages, chose the department because of the strong faculty and the opportunity to specialize in customs law. Abdurashidov Ruslan graduated from Caspian University and chose the dual degree educational program "Maritime and Energy Law", where training is in English. BegaliyevaZhanel and OngarovSayan graduated with honors from the Law Faculty of Kazakh National University, and now they are master students of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law. Sayan has been successfully running a legal clinic since his first year of law school and has received invitations to work in various fields. BegalievaZhanelKazNU al-Farabi, the owner of the sign "AltynBelgi" and educational grants, the winner of national and international competitions, "Best student of Kazakhstan", "Best student of the CIS", a member of the Academy of the Best Students, the owner of invitations of the best foreign universities the USA and Britain.

 All students of the department answered questions of pupils and gave advice on entering the university and preparing for the UNT. They told about the possibilities of professional and scientific growth for students and encouraged the school-leavers to enter the faculty of law and the faculty of customs, financial and environmental law of Kazakh National University named after Al-Farabi.
