Goal 2: Zero Hunger


Within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goal – the Elimination of Hunger, Al-Farabi Kazakh National University provided active assistance to citizens affected by the earthquake in Turkey. At the time of the disaster, teachers and staff of the educational institution transferred the daily salary. The funds collected at the educational institution on the initiative of Rector Tuimebayev Zhanseit Kanseitovich amounted to 40 million tenge. 20 yurts, blankets, thick rugs and adult and children's clothing were collected at the reception point with the support of volunteers.


One of the first to respond to the request for help was the Dean's office of the Faculty of Law of Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, as well as the teaching staff of the Department of Theory and History of State and Law, Constitutional and Administrative Law. Warm blankets, mattresses, pillows were purchased as humanitarian aid.

Faculty of Law Faculty transferred humanitarian aid to the fraternal people in Turkey.
The purpose of organizing this event is to ensure food security, improve nutrition and promote sustainable development.
