On October 28, 2022, 1st-year doctoral student of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law Ainash Akimsalovna Yessekeeva took part in the international scientific and practical conference “The well-being of children is a reliable guarantee of a successful future: problems of effective functioning of institutions for the protection of children's rights” due to the fact that 2022 in the Republic of Kazakhstan is called the “year of children".
The protection of the rights and legitimate interests of children at the conference is one of the priorities of the country's social and legal policy. Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev declared 2022 the Year of Children. In this regard, this year special attention was paid to the protection of children, providing high-quality education, strengthening the health of children with disabilities, the development of information structures, topical issues were voiced about the large-scale measures being carried out in the country. The rights of the child are one of our main values.
