International cooperation

International activities of Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law, Al-Farabi KazNU is aimed at strengthening the reputation, internationalization of education and further integration into the world educational and scientific community. Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law carries out international cooperation in the framework of the agreement with leading foreign universities, implements international joint educational programs, carries out joint research activities, organizes international scientific and practical seminars and conferences, conducts academic exchange of students and lecturers and attracts visiting professors.

 

February 7, 2019 at the initiative of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi Law Faculty entered into an Agreement with the Baku University on double diploma in the Master's program in Law and Maritime and Energy Law, developed with the support of Tuley University (USA). The contract is concluded for 5 years and involves the preparation of masters in the framework of the program of maritime, energy and water law.

September 29, 2018 at the initiative of the Department of Customs, Financial and Environmental Law of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi signed a student exchange agreement with the Higher School of Economics (Moscow, Russia). In accordance with this agreement, the university undertakes to send 8 students and undergraduates to study in English. During the meeting, the First Vice Rector of KazNU. Al-Farabi Burkitbaev MM and Dean of the Faculty of Law, Baiddeldinov D.L. discussed the terms of the agreement with representatives of the HSE.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

April 12, 2018 Dean of the Faculty of Law and International Law Sultan Zainal Abidina (Malaysia) Zuhayrah Arif Abd Ghadas paid a working visit to KazNU named after Al-Farabi and co-founder of the Dean of the Faculty of Law Bayelddinov DM During the meeting, the interlocutors discussed issues of prosperity and promising areas in the fields of science and education.


 

 

 April 16, 2018, the department of customs, financial and environmental law of the Kazakh National University. Al-Farabi was visited by professors of the Riga Technical University, experts of the VOMKA project. The purpose of the visit was to provide methodological and practical assistance in preparing for the international accreditation of the specialty "Customs" for compliance with the international professional standards of the WCO.

The purpose of the visit of Professor Philip McConaughey, was the signing of the cooperation agreement with the Beijing University and Faculty of Law Al-Farabi KazNU.

Beijing University is one of the most outstanding research universities in the world. Beijing University’s School of Transnational Law http://stl.pku.edu.cn/ is unique in China and the only one in the world offering a JD program in English along with a Chinese JM degree. Multinational Law school faculty includes the world-renowned scholars and practitioners from China, USA, EU and other countries. STL graduates are highly valued in positions with leading multinational law firms and corporations, leading Chinese law firms and corporations, large state-owned enterprises, and leading international NGOs.

 

Signing the cooperation agreement with Beijing University’s Shenzhen High School to students of the Law Faculty of Al-Farabi KazNU opens up new perspectives.
