Scientific research within the framework of a scientific project of grant funding from the National Bank of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the topic “Consumer demand in the post-crisis period (international and Kazakh experience)” - Mukhamediyev B.M.
The study of consumer demand in the post-crisis period is in line with Sustainable Development Goal 12 “Ensuring sustainable consumption and production”. This goal aims to ensure more sustainable and efficient consumption and production patterns that take into account environmental, economic and social sustainability. Studying how consumer demand changes after a crisis can help determine which products and services more effectively meet consumer needs given limited resources. Also, understanding changes in consumer demand can lead to more efficient inventory management and waste reduction, which aligns with sustainable consumption and production goals.
Consumer research can also assess what changes in consumer behavior can positively impact social justice and reduceinequality, in line with Sustainable Development Goal 10“Reduce inequality within and between countries”.
