The Higher School of Economics and Business of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University within the framework of the "II Farabi Forum" of the Department of Economics on April 13, 2023, held a Republican intellectual game "Smart student" among students of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Kazakhstan. 

The intellectual game was conducted using a hybrid method (online-offline) in the format.

The purpose of the intellectual game is to reveal the creative abilities of students, to select and support talented and gifted students; to promote the formation of the intellectual potential of students; to develop interest in scientific research; to strengthen academic and friendly relations; to open the way to a new acquaintance of students.

The stage of the intellectual game consisted of two rounds, the second round included the team of Zhetysu University named after Zhansugurov "Zhetysu-BEST", scientific supervisor Korabayeva Nazgul Beisenbekovna; the team of East Kazakhstan University named after Sarsen Amanzholov "Ushkyr", scientific supervisor Bayguzhinova A. Zh., Ordabayeva M. A., Saktayeva A. A.; M. Utemisov team "Timelider " West Kazakhstan University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, scientific supervisor Altybayeva Shynar Mendigalievna; Sarapshy team of PJSC Atyrau University named after H. Dosmukhamedov, scientific supervisor Sabirova R., Dzhumaeva A. K. Scientific director of the Everest team of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University Kakizhanova Tolkyn Isatayevna.  

Depending on the number of points scored according to the results of the intellectual game, the 1st place was taken by the Ushkyr team, members of the group: Asylbekova Nazyly Paizoldaevna, Rakhimova Ayim Yerkinovna, Makilenova Nazgul Bakytkanovna. 

The 2nd prize was shared by two teams: the «Everest» team, group members: Seitishanov Nurshuak, Sayynkulov Nariman, Sarsenbai Sayat and the «Zhetysu-BEST» team, group members: Agybayeva Linara Talgatovna, Asim Aiman Muratovna, Tashbolat Zarina Mirkhatovna. 

The 3rd place was taken by the team "Timelider", group members: Alpysbay Alibek Rustemovich, Mardanova Zhanna Bauyrzhanovna, Gabitova Aida Erikovna and the team "Sarapshy", group members: Aslan Perizat Aslanovna, Les Saya Nurlanovna, Koishekenov Nauryzbek Bolatovich. 

The jury was attended by: Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics Nurmanova Biken Zeynullovna, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences Yerezhepova Aimankul Abdykaimovna, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Economics, Candidate of Economic Sciences Turarov Dauren Ryskulovich.
