Webinar on identifying of “predatory” journals in the Scopus database

On May 13 and 20, 2020, deputy dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Al-Farabi KazNU, on research-innovation affairs and international relations, PhD, Zhidebekkyzy Aknur held two webinars on identifying of “predatory” journals in the Scopus database for teachers and doctoral students of the faculty.

 

During the webinar, types of journals in the international databases Scopus and Web of Science, criteria by which the “predatory” journals are determined, specific examples and tools for analyzing scientometric indicators were considered.
