Closing conference on the Erasmus+ ENINEDU project

On March 24-25, 2020 the international conference "Integration of higher education and corporate sector in the new social environment" on the dispersion of the ENINEDU 574060-EPP-1-2016-KZ-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP project supported by Erasmus+ Capacity Building in higher education was held.

 

Due to the declared pandemic, ban on entry to the Russian Federation and holding mass events, the final conference of the project was held online.

 

The conference from the Orel region was organized by: Orel State University named after I.S.Turgenev and Orel regional branch of the public organization "Free Economic Society of Russia" with the participation of the Orel region branch of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Central Federal District Main Directorate and Orel regional branch of the All-Russian public and state educational organization "Russian Society "Knowledge". The conference was attended by the universities of Spain (University of Santiago de Compostela), Greece (Athens University of Economics and business-research center), France (University of the Cote d'Azur), Kazakhstan (Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University), Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Samara State University of Economics, Ryazan State Radio Engineering University, as well as the Central Federal District Main Department of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation and other business representatives.

 

Welcoming speech to the participants of the conference from the educational environment was from the President of the consortium of Erasmus+ ENINEDU project Muhambetkali Myrzabayevich Burkitbayev - the first vice-rector of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, doctor of chemical sciences, professor (Almaty, Kazakhstan).

 

From the business side, Roman Andreyevich Nikolsky, Head of the Orel Region Department of the Central Federal District of the Bank of Russia (Orel, Russia), greeted the conference participants.

 

Anatoly Gavrilenko, Chairman of the Expert Council for Financial Literacy at the Bank of Russia, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Financial Literacy Development Association, said a welcoming speech from the Financial Literacy Development Association.

 

Sholpan Abdrazakovna Dzhomartova, coordinator of the consortium of the Erasmus+ ENINEDU project, Professor of the Artificial Intelligence and Big Data Department at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor (Almaty, Kazakhstan), spoke about the project and its results.

 

Yuriy Nikitovich Moseikin, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Head of the Department of National Economy of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, told about the experience of the whole project implementation at PFUR.

 

Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor. Irina A. Maslova - Head of the Center for Economics and Business, Professor of the Department of Economics, Finance and Accounting at Orel State University named after I.S.Turgenev spoke about the experience of the ENINEDU project implementation at OSU.

 

During the conference there was a lively discussion on the implementation of the Erasmus+ ENINEDU project.

 

Anna Zotova, Associate Professor of Applied Management Department, Head of International Cooperation Department of Samara State Economic University, spoke about the activities of the alumni network within the ENINEDU project. Aknur Zhidebekkyzy - Deputy Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business on scientific innovation and international relations, senior teacher of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University told about the work of the portal "Youth and career". Nurbakhyt Nurmukhametov - Deputy Director of the Department of Academic Affairs of L.N. Gumilev Eurasian National University spoke about the Kazakh system of higher and postgraduate education in the conditions of expanding academic independence and revision of bachelor and master programs. Elena Alexandrovna Fedorenko - Head of the Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Peoples' Friendship University of Russia told about the experience of cooperation between business and universities on the example of PFUR Center for Entrepreneurship. Ekaterina Andreyevna Degtereva - Associate Professor of Marketing Department, Deputy Dean for International Activity of PFUR Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Candidate of Science (Economics), Associate Professor and Mario De Martino - specialist in international projects of the Department for International Scientific and Educational Cooperation, Deputy Head of the Department for Interaction with International Organizations of PFUR Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Candidate of Science (Political), spoke about PFUR interaction with employers in international educational environments.

 

Elegia Kistrina - Associate Professor of the Department of Economics, Management and Organization of Production, Head of the Coworking Center for Social Entrepreneurship of Ryazan State Radio Engineering University, PhD in Economics, Associate Professor spoke about the practice of interaction between business, government and universities to increase corporate social responsibility in the context of innovation (using as an example the work of the youth coworking center of social entrepreneurship RGRTU).

 

In the framework of the conference there were organized round tables and online inclusion with business representatives. The online inclusion, in particular, was made by Valery Evgenievich Kireev, Chief Economist of the Economic Department of the Orel region of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation Central Federal District.

 

On the second day of the conference there were organized online round tables with the participation of master's students, a contest of master's works and discussion of the peculiarities of the ENINEDU project management while preparing the final report, dispersion and ensuring the sustainability of results.

 

In total, more than 20 online connections of teams of both consortium members and partners from other universities and business sector were organized during the conference. We thank all those who took part in such difficult conditions and hope for successful development of the project results.
