"KAZAKHSTAN IN THE MULTIPOLAR WORLD: ECONOMIC SCENARIOSE"

On April 9-10, 2019, an international scientific-practical conference “KAZAKHSTAN IN THE MULTIPOLAR WORLD: ECONOMIC SCENARIOSE” was held at the Kazakh National University within the framework of the VI International Farabian Readings, and dedicated to the 85th anniversary of the Al-Farabi Kazakh National University and the 70th anniversary of the Higher School of Economics and Business. 

Holding of a large-scale event within the framework of International Farabian readings has become a tradition at a leading Kazakhstani university. For six years, Farabian readings have gained wide popularity and popularity among universities in the world and the scientific community.

In the year of the 85th anniversary of the KazNU major international scientific events were held to unite the efforts of Kazakhstani and foreign scientists in solving global problems of the development of society, the state and the individual.

 

 

 


On April 9, the grand opening of conference was held with the participation of both domestic and foreign scientists, representatives of the business sector, and heads of the largest universities in Kazakhstan. The International Scientific and Practical Conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Faculty was held in the Scientific Library of the al-Farabi Kazakh National University.

 

 

At the plenary meeting, the dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business R. Sagiyeva gave a speech about the history and achievements of the faculty, as well as the development directions. D.e.s., professor, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC "Narxoz University" Svyatov S.A. discussed the topical issues of the banking sector of Kazakhstan. Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Director of the Institute of Economics A. Satybaldin spoke about the strategy of ensuring the economic security of the country. On behalf of foreign scientists, PhD, professor of University of Padova (Italy) David Cheletti spoke about commercial relations between Italian and Eurasian countries. Chairperson of the Board of KZI Bank J.Olekli gave a speech about the prospects for the development of Turkish banking practice in Kazakhstan's realities. Another interesting reports were heard from the Chairman of the Board of the POB, honorary member of the Chamber of Auditors of the Republic of Kazakhstan D.A. Shyutts, professor of the KazNU B.M. Muhamediev, grandson of the 1st dean of the faculty Zherebyatev F.A., member of the Board of Directors of Money Experts D.I. Zherebyatev, Professor, Head of the Department of Finance at the Narxoz University A. Adambekova, and General Director of KBS group M. Akataev.

 

  

  


The plenary session was continued with parallel sessions in following areas:

1. XXI century: prospects for the development of national economies in the global space

2. Management in a multipolar world: trends and prospects

3. Accounting and audit in the conditions of the formation of a multipolar world

4. Market of new financial technologies: challenges and solutions

 

 

 

At the session “Market of new financial technologies: challenges and solutions”, 42 articles from different universities of both Kazakhstan and Russia were announced, for example, the Gumilyov Eurasian National University, Institute of Economics, Peoples' Friendship University of Russia, Orel State University and others. 37 scientific papers were heard, which lead to discussion on the following issues:

1) information security system in a digital transformation of the economy;

2) digital changes in financial services;

3) new financial technologies in banks of the first and second level;

4) improvement of electronic payment systems.

As a result of the discussion, the recommendations were about the need of enhancement the role of universities in the society based on digitalization of education, strengthening the link between education and research, coordinating the joint activities of universities in Kazakhstan and strengthening ties with universities of other countries, developing modern methods and forms of encouraging innovative financial technologies, organizing an event to ensure digital literacy of the population, as well as enhancing corporate training for specialists, enhancing communication and technical skills of the profession.
