Tulegenova Madina Sakenovna, Doctor of Economic sciences, Professor of the Economics Department of the Higher School of Economics and Business commented on the decision of Kassym-Jomart Tokayev on holding early elections of the President of Kazakhstan.

The decision of the country's leadership on the early election of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan is balanced and timely. First, the country will hold elections, the transparency and democracy of which is guaranteed by the current President of Kazakhstan K.K. Tokayev; secondly, early elections will allow to form a government, which is likely to be entrusted with accelerating the lost opportunities of the economy in 2017-2018 and responsibly managing the planned strategically important national projects. Kazakhstan is a resource rich country and with absolutely literate population; the younger generation is inclined to education. Attracting foreign direct investment, developing public-private partnerships, reviving the most valuable institutional elements of the Soviet education system, as well as projecting the best international experience in organizing the educational process will increase the intellectual potential of the nation and stop the outflow of talented youth abroad. An important condition for the implementation of competitive opportunities in Kazakhstan is the confidence of investors and society in the stability, reliability and certainty of the political and social environment.
