Dean of the Higher School of Economics and Business, Doctor of Economic Sciences, acting Professor Sagiyeva Rimma Kalymbekovna took part in the international financial conference Astana Finance Days. During the two-day forum of global finance, the main issues of the development of the financial sector were discussed. The program of the forum included a series of panel sessions devoted to the development of financial centers, the sustainability of the financial system, the development of local capital markets and the management of financial capital. An important topic of the forum was Astana's participation in the Belt initiative and the way as an office for financing infrastructure investments, as well as an important center of expertise and best practices. The third direction of discussion within the forum was a new economy in the light of the fourth industrial revolution. Participants in panel discussions presented what regulators should become in modern times, discussed world trends in financial technologies, including crypto-currencies. Participants in the discussions were representatives of central banks and regulators, academicians, heads of major financial institutions.
