The teaching of students in the university should focus on changes in society, adapt to the requirements of employers. Today, the life cycle of specialties begins to decline. The set of taught disciplines undergoes changes, unclaimed ones disappear, while others disciplines, on the contrary, appear due to the changing labor market conditions. At present, it is necessary to forecast the requirements not only of the national labor market, but also of regional and even individual enterprises. The received education should allow the student to successfully compete in the labor market and develop a career. Employers are interested in the professional competence of the graduate, social adaptability to production activities. Developed educational programs should flexibly adapt to market conditions and employers' requirements. In the future, the need for consulting work with stakeholders to improve training programs will become increasingly important. A master class of Doctor PhD, expert and teacher (Freiburg / Berlin), researcher of the Higher School of Economics (Moscow) Lucas Bischof on the topic "Developing a competence-based training program", which passed on February 26-27, 2018, in the Scientific Library of KazNU named after al-Farabi, helped to adjust the content of training programs. Teachers of the departments of the Higher School of Economics and Business took part in the work of the master class in order to familiarize themselves with the basics of developing sustainable educational programs using a student-centered approach to teaching and the process of analyzing the needs of the labor market.
