Knowledge of “the Chinese culture”
On October of 24th at the Kazakh national university named after Al-Farabi the institute of “Confousious” holds competition on knowledge of “the Chinese culture”. Maintaining aim of this arrangement is studying Chinese language for foreign students, and also to deeply knowing culture of country and increase level of oral speech. Here participate 20 students from all educational establishments learning Chinese language in Almaty. Kazakh national university named after Al-Farabi, Foreign Language University named after Abylai Khan, KazNPU named after Abai, Kazakh-Chinese Language College, and Military institution.
From the Kazakh national university named after Al-Farabi had taken a part at the competition 6 students. In competition that contains from 4 level, 3 students from faculty of oriental studies reached the final level. Tokkarina Aizhan, Isakanova Aizhan and Shunshalieva Mira.
Tokarina Aizhan not just reached to the final level, and also became a winner. Isakanova Aizhan took 2nd place, Shunshalieva Mira took 3rd place.
In compound of judges there are members like officials from Chinese embassy, members from oil companies, Xinjiang university of China, and also professors and teachers from Lanzhou University. They are really couldn’t hide their exiting feelings about how the high level of Chinese language education in Kazakh national university named after Al-Farabi, faculty of oriental studies.
